Equanimity I still have my preferences, prefer, let's say, a mango smoothie, to a hot poker in the eye. And still have a plethora of desires, attachments and aversions. But I noticed, over time, that the Heart of Equanimity has reduced the amplitude and in many cases, eradicated, the 'spikes' of personal drama in the EEG of psyche. A soothing salve, washing away toxicity, eradicating impurities, levelling out the playing field, generating free space, increasing the humor, finding peace and joy in what were once dark corners.
