Threatened I've come to the conclusion that birds are low life hoodlums, forming gangs, marking territory, always disturbed by threat and fear, fighting for survival, sex, resources. Human street gangs not much different nor are para-militaries, the CIA, Shining-Path guerillas, the Mafia, the Mossad, the IRA, the NRA, the Red brigade, the patriot movement, and every army and nation-state on earth.
