Self Cloud
Self-possession is the dis-ease
abiding as the root of all is key.
Arrogance and low self-esteem,
different colors on prison bars.
One must step back, then step through
the mire and muck of self-consciousness
to stand in what transcends it all.
The good works of helping others,
however benign and wonderful
won't crack this nut of self-hood.
There's a cloud that swallows us all,
and almost no one has a clue.
A subtle maze of imprisonment,
and an implicit agreed upon reality,
that has made no one happy nor free.
Intrinsic awareness, abiding in its own space,
is the understanding that is coincident
with blissful freedom and clarity,
allows one to see the invisible prison
that no one notices
through the pristine perspective of
boundless space and vastness.
