This is the Akbar Mausoleum, a magnificent and sizable strucure in its own right, dedicated to the greatest of the Moghul emperors. This red sandstone and white marble structure is intricately adorned with carvings and like the Taj Mahal, represents the heights of Moghul architecture. |
