I slept in some major ratholes in my Himalayan journey, and my hotel in room at the Hotel Ganges Kinares felt like a 5 star hotel, but still it wouldn't exactly make AAA ratings in the west. The place needed a paint job, the headboard was greasy, and the bathroom was a sight to behold, but it still, for India, I would recommend the place. Rooms on the other side of the hall have river views. |
