What makes St. Tome Cathedral special is that for many years it contained the remains of Christ's apostle St. Thomas, a.k.a. 'doubting Thomas'.
St. Thomas's remains were enclosed in glass at the bottom of this shrine before they were carted away to Rome.I bet you didn't know the apostles made it to India! |
