Sights of Varanasi

One of the more interesting temples in Varanasi is the Nepali temple, named so for its Buddhistic pagoda architecture. It also has another interesting feature - its columns contain numerous scupltures of erotic scenes - not a vivid or wild as the scenes of the temples of Khajurao, but quite the sharp contrast from ordinary India. The priest told me that young married couples are taken here for pointers. |
