As with many cultures that have limitied resources, everything that possibly can be used is used. Here we have the locals drying cow dung on the ghats of the Ganges for eventual use as cooking fuel. BTW, if you do happen to step in cow dung, which I did several times, it's not as bad as you would think - it doesn't smell at all. Now back to Delhi... |
