On the Road to the Himalayas
I just love Indian sweets - thousands of years of civilization have created crowning achievements in dessert land with minimal ingredients. However my fear of Indian bacteria does lessen my enthusiasm - you know, someone rolled all of those things with his or her bare hands, and did they wash before touching the food? In India? Doubt it! Nothing like washing down Indian goodies and sweets with a little Coca Cola, just to give your pancreas a workout. |

There were untold glorious photo opportunities while driving through the Himalayans, but the roads were bumpy and it was difficult to stop on the windy, one and
a half lane roads. But when we did get time to smell the flowers, the views were gorgeous, literally and figuratively. This photo is still on a plain in the foothills.
