Bangkok's Grand Palace
I don't suppose you have a similar banister leading to your basement? I suspect
that there's some symbolism regarding these five heads at the edge of this banister,
but I don't know what it is.

Many of the entrances to the building on the Grand Palace grounds are protected
by large warrior/protector statues such as this gold/brass masterpiece.
