Phil's All Embracing Bhutan Slide Show Ornate Views of the Grand Palace The area of Grand Palace, which is over 200,000 square meters, contains numerous stupas and statues of various size, from the miniscule to the massive. This is one of many stupas found in the Grand Palace. Nothing is painted - each colored piece is either a jewel, brass, or colored glass.
