Thangbi Temple, Bumthang
Yellow roofed Thangbi temple was founded in 1470 and eventually headed by Pema Lingpa a great Vajrayana Buddhist master of the Nyingmapa school. The rocks you see here and below are called thos and represent the guardians of the four directions. |
