Phil's All Embracing Bhutan Slide Show
Scenes From Punakha
After the relative cold of the higher elevations of Thimphu and Paro, the warmth of
Punakha was welcome relief. It was also a totally new kind of landscape - even though
Punakha is north of Thimphu, it is lower in elevation, and had more of tropical feel
to it.

for nice photo ops. As this is March/April, barley and winter wheat is being grown,
and rice in warmer times.
